Warehouse Technician (6 Month Contract)
About QSIC
QSIC is reinventing in-store audio by combining Audio, Intelligence (AI) and Creativity to redefine the value of in-store audio and drive growth for retailers and brands. Founded in Australia over a decade ago, QSIC built the leading intelligent in-store audio platform used by thousands of stores across three continents, reaching over 100 million shoppers each month.
QSIC’s Ad Platform uses AI to remove ad production friction and instantly create targeted, brand-aligned messaging. Advertisers can use the Planning solution to dynamically place messages at the right time for maximum impact, with every ad play recorded and verified for transparency. QSIC’s In-Store Audio solutions deliver intelligent, scalable and personalised playlists with automated volume control. QSIC Intelligence provides enhanced targeting and predicts the right message for every moment using data-driven insights, including performance analytics and self-service reporting.
QSIC has team members based in Australia, the United States and Mexico, and received Series B funding in January 2025.
About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and physically capable Warehouse Technician to join the QSIC Operations team in the US. This role supports end-to-end client deployments, from hardware delivery to ongoing IT support. You’ll configure, test, package, ship, and receive QSIC devices, and help build scalable workflows as the company grows globally. You will collaborate with global colleagues in Australia and Mexico across Engineering, Sales and Operations.
This is a 6-month contract position with potential to transition to full-time based on business needs. The role is on-site at QSIC’s warehouse in Farmers Branch, Texas.
You will
- Configure and test equipment including Raspberry Pi devices, PoE switches, PoE speakers, and other hardware (training provided)
- Package and ship equipment to customers across North America
- Receive deliveries, sorting and organizing them into their respective locations
- Communicate daily with internal team members, delivery drivers, and others — by phone, email, and in person
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defective or failed equipment to identify root cause
- Lift, carry, and count products up to 50 lbs using ladders, carts, or pallet jacks — must be comfortable with heights
- Work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled, with exposure to seasonal heat and cold
- Wear closed-toed shoes at all times while working in the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to 5S standards and OSHA requirements
- Work directly with an experienced Warehouse Manager for one-on-one training and support
- Perform cycle counts and inventory tracking
About you
You must:
- Have strong attention to detail — you’re good at noticing when something’s off and fixing it before it becomes a problem
- Be comfortable working on your feet and lifting/moving packages for most of the day
- Be organized, self-starting, and adaptable — there’s lots of work, and plenty of opportunity
- Be curious and willing to learn about QSIC’s tech stack and systems
- Be a good communicator who can work independently and solve problems, but who knows when to loop others in for support
- Have experience effectively communicating over the phone, in person, and online with colleagues and external stakeholders including clients
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or in a tech support role
- Used barcode scanners, inventory systems, or basic databases
- Familiarity with Raspberry Pi, Linux, or quality testing consumer electronics
- Interest in business, process improvement, or operational logistics
- A second language (Spanish beneficial)
- Confidence using a range of Apple Mac products and the Google suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meets)
- A passion for building new ways of working and creating efficiencies
- A strong interest in music
Our values
- Honesty First: Keep it real, mate. We celebrate frank communication that is direct, open, respectful, and fair. We choose honesty over getting it “perfect” every time.
- Invent Solutions: Roll up your sleeves. We see a problem and don’t dwell on it but rather — we understand it, we own it, we solve it. We don’t see a wall, but a hurdle ready for us to take.
- Learn Everyday: Soak it up. We have a genuine insatiable curiosity and never take ourselves too seriously.
- One Team: We are all in this together. We value the diversity of our people — their nuances and differences. When we come together as a team, that’s what makes us truly great.
At QSIC we recognise there is no such thing as a ‘perfect’ candidate. QSIC is a company where everyone has an opportunity. So however you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this role interests you.
