Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• Load and unload batteries
• Restock batteries
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas)
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
• No experience required; experience in warehouse operations preferred (including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack, and stretch-wrap machine in a warehouse environment)
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Sense of urgency and well organized
• Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
• Consistent walking or standing during shift
• Repetitive taping of boxes
• Overtime required as deemed necessary
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required

Work Environment

• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions, such as exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals

• Interacts professionally within the warehouse distributor team and with all other departments and team members
• Accountable for individual accuracy and commitment to learning from mistakes
• Operate with integrity and demonstrate a positive attitude

Pay

$15-$24 per hour
