About the role
Nelsen Corporation, a family-owned business established over 70 years ago, is a leading OEM and distributor of residential and commercial water treatment systems, components, and drinking water products. This position supports our warehouse operations from our headquarters in Medina, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Process orders using software systems and pick tickets to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Properly pack items for shipment or stage for Production assembly, ensuring order accuracy with thorough paperwork and product review.
- Identify shipping methods and follow procedures to quality-check, pack, and label products appropriately.
- Receive incoming products and off-load truck deliveries; notify management of inventory discrepancies or damaged products.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance duties.
- Restock and rotate product while adhering to safety standards; immediately correct or report unsafe conditions.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of Warehouse, Shipping, and Safety experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, including use of scanners.
- Ability to lift, lower, and slide 50-70 pounds.
- Ability to use small hand tools; high-reach forklift experience a plus.
- Basic computer literacy with keyboard skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
Pay
$20/hour.
