Warehouse Team Member - 3rd Shift

SUMMARY

This warm and engaging team member will be an integral part of our North Beach Distribution Center. With a growing business, our Picking team members work within a dedicated team to manage customer orders at our fast-paced warehouse. Activities such as pallet building, order status communication, forklift/pallet jack operating and adhering to safety and quality standards will be a part of daily activities, but it doesn’t stop there. Taking pride in your work, routine tasks are done with a dedication to accuracy and customer satisfaction. Verification processes and first-time quality are your mantras. You take and give direction well while working on a team, keeping team members in the know of time-sensitive information. You are a go-getter, who gives it your all, and is always willing to lend a hand and support others in times of need. When challenges arise, you consistently come up with sustainable solutions, and help bring them to life!

Success Factors (12-18 months)

• Distribution Expertise: Proficient in using a scanner to track and pick product throughout the distribution center. Leveraging your distribution experience (preferably food and beverage) and WMS expertise, you ensure that picking is done accurately and on time resulting in zero defects.
• FEFO is Your World: Understands the importance and impact of even the smallest detail in customer specifications.
• Master of Processes and Equipment: Helps train others in these areas and can troubleshoot both new and common problems. Seamlessly adapts work to support changing needs of the business.
• Collaborates with Others Effectively: Prevents errors in the process.
• Attention to Detail: Comfortable picking product to orders averaging a minimum of 2,000+ cases per day, while maintaining accuracy. Consistently cycles count orders to confirm accuracy.
• Safety First: Maintains a safe and enjoyable work environment while striving for zero safety incidents. Addresses safety concerns and uses forklift and/or pallet jack driving skills safely.
• Reliability and Commitment: Respected for delivering on commitments and counted on for stellar attendance. Loves to roll up sleeves and pitch-in to get the job done and delight customers.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience working in a warehouse (minimum 2 years required, 3-5 years preferred)
• 2 years of forklift driver experience, with current certification
• Experience with warehouse management systems, utilizing scanner technology and/or data entry into desktop
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and mathematics
• Fluent in English for both written and verbal communication
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through the day
• Driven to learn other aspects of the business, a Team player willing to perform other functions outside of designated role or shift
• Willingness to work overtime & weekends
