About the role

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for safely moving, picking, and loading beverage products onto delivery trucks. Excellent time management and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in picking orders or loading trucks as necessary.
• Follow all applicable policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and clean work area.
• Use voice-pick system to pull orders from stock and arrange on cart or pallet according to loading specifications.
• Obtain orders from printer and transport load to wrapping station; wrap orders to prevent slippage or damage in transit.
• Stage orders for loading and process paperwork before loading.
• Using pallet jack or forklift, load trucks according to load sheet, ensuring load is placed by stop; secure load with straps and lock doors.
• Operate forklift according to company and regulatory requirements; maintain certification, report accidents immediately, and complete daily pre-ride reports.
• Maintain fluid levels on assigned forklift and ensure it is kept charged.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area; clean and reorganize while working.
• Clean up all spills and damaged products immediately; report incidents to supervisor for documentation.
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Load orders following safe work habits and lifting techniques.
• Report near-miss incidents and unsafe work conditions; report all accidents and near misses to supervisor.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months of similar or related experience; forklift and/or walkie-rider/electronic pallet jack experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, bar graphs, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical work as outlined in physical requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly/constantly (>66% of workday): Walk, stand, lift, carry, reach knee to shoulder, lift/push/pull exerting force over 20 pounds, hear, and see. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, acuity, and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequently (34-66% of workday): Lift one-handed, push, pull, lift items up to 46 pounds, reach below knee, reach above shoulder, handle, grasp.
• Occasionally ( Sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist trunk, lift/push/pull forces up to 100 pounds, lift kegs up to 160 pounds, finger, pinch, and talk.
