About the role
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for all phases of product movement including receiving and/or shipping responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the receiving department and coordinate work assignments
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Order picking
- Operating equipment
- Shrink-wrapping products
- Preparing products for shipment
- Physical inventory count and preparation
- Storing inbound finished goods/raw materials
- Quality Control for outbound finished goods/raw materials
- Staging finished goods for outbound
- Prepping raw materials for packaging
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- One year experience in a leadership role of receiving
- Must comply/adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work variable shift schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends as required
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including physical lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Must ensure accuracy of work
- Forklift certification required
- Basic computer skills needed
