Warehouse Team Leader 2nd Shift (2:45pm-11:00pm, Mon-Fri)
Responsibilities
- Cook up the picking priority of work orders and sales orders
- Handle bin replenishment needs
- Carry out daily picking and packing tasks as needed
- Report department performance metrics to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Train Material Handlers, Packers, and Cycle Counters
- Assign tasks to warehouse employees daily
- Resolve daily issues involving paperwork and the ERP system
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Advise the Warehouse Supervisor on employee non-compliance and policy issues
- Advise the Warehouse Supervisor on work instruction and report content
- Enter data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets accurately
- Deliver product parts and finished goods safely and accurately to the warehouse
- Move product parts and finished goods to designated picking and bulk warehouse locations
- Keep inventory stocking levels in product parts and finished good picking locations updated
- Enter and maintain inventory related data in the ERP
- Maintain proper housekeeping of the warehouse zones in multiple locations
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack) safely in a limited space environment
- Inform the Supervisor when there are issues with order fulfillment or product shortages
- Follow all department and safety procedures of the facility and warehouse zones
- Conduct daily cycle counts of product parts and finished goods and resolve variances
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED, technical certification is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience using an ERP system is preferred
- Experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet-jacks, carts, etc.) is preferred
- A basic knowledge of data entry in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- A valid driver's license is required
- The ability to perform basic mathematic computations is required
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English is required
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to push-pull a maximum of 1200 lbs. with a manual rolling assist
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, sit, and ladder-climb for more than 1 hour at a time
- Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
- General knowledge of workplace safety is a plus
