Warehouse Team Lead (Receiving)

About the role

The Receiving Team Lead supports daily warehouse operations by guiding and training team members to meet production, quality, and service goals. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, communicates performance updates to the Supervisor, and assists with workflow coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Supervisor by providing direction and training to employees within the work team to ensure production rates, quality standards, and service goals are achieved.
• Maintains compliance with safety policies, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices.
• Keeps the Supervisor informed of production rates, training needs, performance issues, improvement opportunities, and personnel concerns.
• Performs production functions within the assigned work group at established performance rates as needed.
• Operates powered equipment to move, stage, or ship product as required.
• Maintains accurate records of product movement and task completion using the PkMS system.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of PkMS or related Warehouse Management Systems.
• Ability to complete work assignments and projects in a timely and efficient manner with minimal follow-up.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively give and receive instructions.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior leadership experience is a plus.
