Warehouse Team Lead Picking - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Warehouse Team Lead at Cytiva, you will assist the Warehouse Supervisor in day-to-day responsibilities, providing direction to Warehouse Team members. This position reports to the Manager, Production, and is part of the Logistics department located in Duncan, SC. You will be onsite, contributing to our vision of advancing future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be a consistent voice of Quality for the area, including proper handling of goods, coaching others, verifying product movement to the next work center, and ensuring associates complete all required documentation.
• Support daily warehouse operations by managing critical metrics:
  • Safety: Lead, monitor, and comply with all site EHS policies and programs.
  • Quality: Ensure the team follows all required GDP/GMP procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Delivery: Maintain compliance with the daily attainment schedule.
  • Inventory: Follow the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principle and verify accurate transaction execution through bin-to-bin and picking audits.
  • Productivity: Participate in problem-solving to minimize downtime and improve throughput through a continuous improvement (DBS) culture.
• Assist in training new associates and cross-training existing team members.
• Participate in general warehouse cleaning to maintain well-kept stock.
• Operate all equipment according to safety regulations.
• Ensure correct Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Occasionally support other warehouse departments as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to train, lead, and mentor a team to drive success.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 35 lbs. and handle extended periods of bending, lifting, sitting, and standing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, particularly in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
