Warehouse Team Lead 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Absorb and provide necessary information, technology, and tools to employees for their jobs.
• Aid in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred.
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner preferred.
• A valid forklift operator's license certified preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Effective leadership skills preferred.
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.

Skills

• Ability to learn/operate powered industrial equipment, cherry pickers/order pickers, pallet jacks, etc.

Pay

Weekly hourly pay of $23.00 per hour.

Schedule

Sunday-Tuesday: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
