Warehouse support Operator

About the role

The Warehouse Clerk supports warehouse operations by managing inventory, performing material handling tasks, and maintaining production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Measures and weighs daily remnants; restocks them when finished.
• Filings production Lits daily.
• Files the paper Lit once the part is machined and returned to the warehouse.
• Follows Lean Manufacturing principles and practices the 5S's on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Strong alpha numeric filing skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Ability to interpret Manufacturing Plans for Make Stock instructions.
• Ability to input data into a computer terminal.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; one to three months related experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry, is preferred.

• Ability to work safely and comply with company safety rules and procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow company attendance and shift scheduling requirements.
