Warehouse Support Clerk - 2nd Shift

About the role

This position involves unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing items into warehouse racks or pick slots. It provides support to various warehouse functions such as sanitation, inventory control, and product selection. Responsibilities may include fueling, washing, and cleaning semi-trucks/trailers, verifying product accuracy, and assisting with order assembly.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, organize and palletize products, and ensure proper storage.
• Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of various food products, including frozen, dairy, produce, and meats.
• Assist with sanitation and cleaning tasks within the warehouse.
• Operate power industrial equipment like pallet jacks and high lifts, ensuring safety and proper maintenance.
• Check for damaged products, verify received items, and label pallets correctly.
• Participate in product rotation, move products to dock areas, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; warehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience with industrial equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to lift 30-75 lbs., work in various temperature zones, and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing work requirements.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is necessary.
