Warehouse Support

About the role

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting both warehouse and transportation functions as needed, ensuring efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist in parking and fueling vehicles
• Cover routes when needed
• Ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches
• Communicate with warehouse staff and management to resolve discrepancies
• Manage security of the yard and building
• Assist in stacking and sorting to ensure the flow of freight
• Ability to cover various shifts
• Perform other required duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hold a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record that meets company standards
• 1+ year of experience in leadership and transportation industry preferred
• Ability to operate a manual transmission or willingness to learn
• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work with all types of freight, including hazardous material, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

Pay

$24.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differential. Paid overtime at time and a half after 40 hours per week.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM start. May be expected to cover variable shifts based on business needs.
