Warehouse Support

About the role

The Warehouse Support is a key member of the Warehouse Operations team responsible for providing support by performing many general functions in order to support the efficient operations of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide general services to the Operations Management.
• Aid in the handling of product returned to the warehouse.
• Aid in the handling and rework of damaged product.
• Aid in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices and grounds.
• Generate documents used in the loading process as requested.
• Maintain vehicles in and out of the warehouse, if authorized.
• Verify picked orders before product is loaded onto truck.
• Aid warehouse loaders as requested.
• Follow all safety guidelines as required by management.
• Wear all assigned safety equipment and observe safety rules.
• Complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must be able to be forklift certified through Buffalo Rock.
• Valid Driver License, for state of residence, with good driving record.
• Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematics and communicate clearly.
• Basic knowledge of equipment / tools needed to fulfill the needs of the essential tasks.
