Warehouse Supervisor - Shift: 9:00am - 6:00pm

About the role

The Warehouse Outbound Supervisor oversees daily operations of the outbound department in a 100,000‑square‑foot fulfillment center. The role ensures customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment while enforcing safety standards and driving productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate pick, pack, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct training to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality‑control standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and other departments (receiving, inventory, etc.) to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the picking area.
• Monitor and report on productivity, error rates, and order accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Schedule labor and manage timekeeping for team members to ensure adequate staffing during shifts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or order issues related to picking.
• Promote a positive, team‑oriented culture and support employee engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• Manual dexterity to operate warehouse equipment and tools.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays, as needed.

Pay

The hourly range is based on qualifications, experience, equipment, and geographic location. Encompass operates as a pay‑for‑performance company; in addition to base pay, some roles offer a production bonus.

Schedule

Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.
