Warehouse Supervisor - Reno NV - No nights or weekends

About the role

Responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and managing inventory; picking and fulfilling customer orders; and making timely deliveries. This role conducts cycle counts, resolves inventory discrepancies, maintains a clean and secure warehouse, and assists with the maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment to support safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities

• Pulling stock and staging by delivery route bays.
• Schedule and deliver products to customers.
• Drive a forklift, cherry picker, stretch wrapper, and operate electric pallet jacks.
• Ensure that warehouse operations are performed efficiently and effectively by training swing shift team on proper procedures, including safety, and keeping the warehouse orderly and clean.
• Address delivery and customer issues directly.
• Coordinate with other WCP Solutions warehouses regarding any inventory or delivery issues.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a warehouse or warehouse supervisor position preferred.
• Hazcom and Hazmat experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and current versions of MS Office.
• Professional conduct while interacting with vendors, other company employees, and customers.

Skills

• Maintain confidential conduct and meet company/regulatory safety requirements.
• Be adaptable to change such as routes or schedules.
• Customer service orientation; good public relations skills.
• Read and follow the GPS or road map.
• Can work without direct supervision.
• Warehouse knowledge preferred.
• Meet company and regulatory driving record requirements.
• Move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse, customer location, and truck cab environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds with team lift on an occasional basis.
• Subject to seasonal weather and local traffic conditions.
• Overtime may be required.
