Warehouse Supervisor II

About the role

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, manage staff, and communicate between shifts. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assign work assignments and keep customer specifications in mind to meet delivery schedules.
• Supervise loading of inbound/outbound freight according to customer specifications.
• Communicate updates and work-flow changes to local, regional, and OTR drivers.
• Review deliveries for poor packing and general conditions of materials, alerting relevant parties to any issues.
• Ensure accurate recording and verification of all shipments against paperwork.
• Maintain and update the Tee Card board and TMW system.
• Communicate daily work-flow, issues, and customer concerns via email.
• Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors.
• Monitor and approve shift employee timesheets for weekly payroll.
• Manage and maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with AIB processes and procedures, including handling food products.
• Ensure proper accident reporting and handling of injured employees.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager or COO.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Dispatch experience and dock supervision experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software a plus.
• Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
