Warehouse Supervisor F Shift - W09

About the role

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assign work assignments for all 2nd shift warehouse staffing, keeping in mind customer specifications, up to and including driver departure times to meet delivery schedules.
• Oversee the loading of inbound/outbound freight according to customer specifications.
• Supervise and communicate with Local, Regional, and OTR drivers, ensuring updates and workflow changes are communicated effectively.
• Review deliveries for poor packing and general conditions of materials, alerting relevant parties to any issues.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of shipment paperwork, including scanning of BOL's.
• Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries as needed, implementing any required actions.
• Maintain and approve shift employee timesheets for weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations, ensuring adherence to AIB processes and procedures.
• Handle accident reporting and ensure proper procedures are followed, including reporting any emergency actions taken.
• Perform assigned tasks or other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager or COO.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Dispatch experience and dock supervision experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software a plus.
• Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Efficient problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including data entry.
