Warehouse Supervisor - Cleveland Zoo

Job Responsibilities

• Captures and assigns tasks to achieve optimal personnel and equipment utilization.
• Maintains inventory levels based on past usage and projected demand.
• Verifies incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, rejecting any unacceptable items.
• Supervises warehouse operations to ensure security and maintenance.
• Orders supplies from vendors and advises management on necessary items.
• Advocates for and implements improvements in warehouse procedures.
• Trains warehouse staff and assists with their selection.
• Uncrates shipments and manages container disposal or storage.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work demands.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 to $20.00. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
