About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The main objective will be to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and work closely with other departments to meet our operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Warehouse Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and adherence to safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize loss.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline warehouse operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on warehouse activities, including productivity, inventory levels, and any issues or incidents that may arise.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, purchasing, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure proper maintenance and functionality of warehouse equipment and machinery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control principles.
- Forklift experience on a majority of Wilson's current equipment and must be trainable on unfamiliar equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

Schedule
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
