Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Directs and coordinates all warehousing activities and employees. Supervises the storage, inventory control, order filling and shipment to customers for all finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Manages the storage of all finished goods.
• Maintains inventory control of all finished goods.
• Ensures all trucks are properly loaded and secured in accordance with load plan.
• Ensures shipments are packed properly and protected against damage in transit.
• Ensures stock locator system is maintained and updated.
• Reports and investigates all accidents/incidents, and completes accident/incident reports in a timely manner and submits to human resources.
• Maintains neat, clean, safe and tidy work environment throughout warehouse.
• Maintains labor budget requirements.
• Coordinates weekly cycle counts with staff to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a back-up position (e.g., Team Lead or Asst. Supvr.).
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Leadership-level general competencies in accountability, customer service, integrity and honesty, and quality focus.
• Leadership-level functional competencies in interpersonal skills, knowledge of warehouse/shipping process, planning and organizing, and warehouse safety.

Work Environment

• Exposure to cold, hot, and dusty conditions.
• Some heavy lifting up to 50-75 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7pm–7am, rotating shift, must be able to work every other weekend.
