Job Duties
- Supervise warehouse team member performance and execution
- Train and oversee the development of employees in the warehouse loading department
- Evaluate performance and counsel deficiencies
- Ensure team members follow company policies, safety rules, state and federal laws
- Responsible for verification of orders being built and the accurate loading of delivery vehicles
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding product freshness, rotation and handling of close to code products
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Monitor truck inventory for out of stocks and close to code product
- Execute delivery instructions from Driver, Sales Rep and District Manager
- Mercandise displays and organize inventory storage areas
- Stock retail shelves according to current shelf schematic
- Maintain proper care, maintenance and safe operation of all company vehicles and equipment
- Repair and repackage damaged goods
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with other team members
- Maintain a clean work place including tractor, trailer and designated areas at retail
- Maintains equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns and requiring preventative maintenance
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Communicate and coordinate activities with other departments
- Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Monitor payroll on a daily basis
Competencies
- Experience in warehouse operations
- Supervisory skills
- Direct experience in wholesale beer distribution and/or brewer/supplier operations
- Good communication skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with others
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of iPad/Computer applications and operations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment
- A team player with a readiness to communicate often and effectively
- Awareness of equipment maintenance
- Bachelor's Degree

Physical Requirements
- Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs.
- Hang merchandise as needed
- Repetitive lifting, up to 50 lbs. overhead
- Bending, pulling/pushing up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler
- Ability to continuously stand or walk
- Occasional carrying and reaching
