Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe working environment in all facets related to the warehouse.
- Oversee receiving and put-away processes.
- Actively interact with supervisors and managers to monitor build status and support the receiving department.
- Coordinate crating/packaging needs for component orders (Parts or Internal Orders).
- Utilize ERP system (Syteline CSI) to update inventory transactions of received raw inventory through storage locations.
- Manage and track KPIs and costs.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining material flow throughout the facility.
- Maintain a well-organized work environment and track material transactions from receiving throughout the warehouse.
- Complete training and competency tests for internal certifications: Overhead Bridge Crane Operation, Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Reach Stacker.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
- Previous experience leading or supervising warehouse personnel preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Working knowledge of safe rigging, lifting, and crane operation practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience coaching and motivating employees.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service, quality, and timely execution.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and warehouse best practices preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, customers, and external logistics partners.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals related to safety, productivity, quality, and customer service.
