Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor manages order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, delivery, and warehouse functions. This position schedules, directs, and supervises warehouse employees, ensures inventory accuracy, and maintains forklifts and delivery truck maintenance and record keeping. The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates and oversees all daily warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs daily activities of warehouse employees.
• Delegates and assigns tasks to warehouse employees.
• Provides input to manager on coaching and feedback to warehouse employees.
• Supervises warehouse activities to facilitate the most efficient and economical use of space for storing and distributing raw material and finished products.
• Manages order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
• Maintains warehouse location system and inventory accuracy.
• Schedules and directs daily customer deliveries.
• Services Customers at Will Call Counter.
• Performs other warehouse functions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Ability to interact positively with direct reports, coworkers, and customers.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to spend up to 8 hours standing and walking to perform warehouse duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
• Must be able to operate hand pallet truck.
