Warehouse Supervisor

Position Details

The Warehouse Supervisor in Leslie Controls, Inc. directs the activities of employees engaged in Receiving and Warehouse. The role also ensures the safety of workers by setting safety policies for the department.

Principal Activities

• Manage employees’ daily activities to ensure production efficiencies.
• Manage employees' hours to minimize overtime.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.
• Place employees on verbal and written counseling, as needed.
• Train employees in fundamentals of production as well as cross-train the staff in all facets of production.
• Conduct interviews on potential candidates.
• Inform Human Resources and Operations Manager of all employee resignations and terminations.
• Assign tasks and projects to Group Leads.
• Ensure meeting the production schedule.
• Maintain work area, equipment, and supplies in a near, safe, and orderly condition.
• Report any problems or difficulties to the Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years experience in warehouse.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
