Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Distribution Center Regional Manager and is responsible for training and supervising associates, reducing operational costs, ensuring compliance with operational policies, and overseeing administrative tasks. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily receiving operations.
• Supervise and assign tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business needs and customer priority.
• Review warehouse processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations; update and retrain personnel as needed.
• Coordinate product flow, facility layout, security, and maintenance activities.
• Oversee partnerships with LTL (less than load) providers, including cost control, damage claim rate, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure inbound trucks are efficiently unloaded and products are properly received and stored.
• Manage staff scheduling and attendance based on warehouse needs.
• Manage individual staff performance through ongoing feedback, support, and resource provision.
• Promote a culture of high performance, customer service, and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via email.
• Drive team efforts to reduce cost and labor spend while maintaining best-in-class services.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience.
• Excellent customer service, computer, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $55K - $65K
