Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 3:30 AM until finish (typically 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM; earlier finish on Fridays).

Pay

Starting at $70,000 – $75,000 plus annual bonus potential.

About the role

Responsible for supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery, and processing paperwork relating to product delivery. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training, guidance, establishing job standards, and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate, and complete order pulling for all orders during the shift.
• Ensures all orders are loaded in their entirety and in proper stop sequence on assigned trucks and trailers; completes all necessary paperwork.
• Ensures all product received is stocked properly and first-in/first-out warehouse procedures are followed for stock rotation.
• Demonstrates a strong service-quality ethic and ensures associates understand their roles in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes the Company’s warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity.
• Analyzes warehouse productivity levels and recommends appropriate changes.
• Handles building security, including locking the warehouse and setting alarms after the night shift.
• Ensures the safe operation of all material-handling equipment.
• Complies with Company health and safety programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2 – 4 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Warehouse or related supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack.
