Warehouse Specialist (Warehouse Worker)
About the role
This Warehouse Specialist Jr. position supports the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), at Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC. In this role, incumbent shall be able to perform the full spectrum of Warehousing functional duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to, assisting in receiving, inspecting, storing, preparing, shipping, and disposal of supplies related to Ground Supply operations similar to those Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 3051. Responsibilities also include use of AIS such as GCSS-MC and material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, storing, preparing, shipping, and disposal of supplies related to Ground Supply operations.
- Use of AIS such as GCSS-MC and material handling equipment.
- Obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical and tactical Government-owned equipment.
Requirements
- High School or GED equivalent and Four (4) years of relevant, progressive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Qualifications
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must operate non-tactical and/or tactical Government-owned equipment, to include gas/diesel and/or electric forklifts, and wheeled vehicles, use of pallet jacks, and other such material handling equipment (MHE).
- Must have sufficient mobility to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels.
- Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Skills
- Proficient in using general office equipment, including: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other work related tools as required.

Pay
$17.05/hr
Schedule
Standard core working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, but depending upon operational demands, the position could require some night and weekend work. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
