Warehouse Specialist - Food Bank

About the Role

The Warehouse Specialist operates under the direction of the Operations Manager to ensure the efficient and safe pickup and delivery of food to designated distribution sites. This position involves maintaining accurate inventory controls, organizing and storing products, and overseeing the proper operation and upkeep of warehouse equipment such as refrigeration units, freezers, forklifts, and vehicles. The role is key to supporting the food bank's mission by upholding safety standards and organizational protocols in a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver food to designated distribution sites.
• Maintain accurate inventory controls.
• Organize and store products within the warehouse.
• Operate and maintain refrigeration units, freezers, forklifts, vehicles, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and organized.
• Comply with all safety standards and organizational protocols.
