About the role

The Warehouse Specialist is a cross-functional team member responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and inventory auditing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damage
• Stock inventory into correct locations using scanners
• Pick customer orders accurately and stage for shipping
• Perform routine cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
• Identify inventory discrepancies, root causes of inventory variances, and opportunities for process enhancement
• Maintain inventory accountability, material condition integrity, and documentation accuracy
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders (procurement, logistics, customer service, etc.) at the bonded warehouse
• Communicate and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure policies and procedures are followed and completed
• Support Kingstree manufacturing and/or logistics activities, especially during peak season

Requirements

• A minimum high school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks
• Working knowledge of SAP for inventory management
• Proficient in Microsoft software suites (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment by shifting between different priorities, adjusting work schedule, and/or working overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP for inventory management (preferred)
