Warehouse Specialist
Job Description
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for organization of inventory in the warehouse, as well as tracking and facilitation of shipping and receiving. The Specialist will be working with pharmaceutical ingredients and is expected to adhere to strict GMP guidelines. Maintaining a safe work environment is imperative.
- Generate new warehouse shipping and receiving delivery packing slips
- Recording, documenting, and tracking inventory via SAP
- Material handling and sorting
- Inspecting items upon receiving shipments
- Forklift operation
Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, and free of clutter
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety Guidelines
Qualification and Experience
- Relevant experience or course work in warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and GMP/regulatory requirements
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift is required
- Driving company Truck is Preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two to three years Experience with SAP is required
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply.
This position may require lifting up to 35 pounds occasionally.
Generally work is performed in a combination of a corporate and manufacturing environment.
Pay and Benefits
Lupin offers a base salary range of $60,000 to $78,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location, in accordance with New Jersey Pay Transparency requirements.
This position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, and participation in retirement and incentive programs, subject to plan eligibility and terms.
