Warehouse Shipping Lead

A Day in the Life

As a Shipping Lead, you will lead the Outbound team to ensure all outbound shipments meet client and customer needs. This role involves frequent lifting and moving of boxes weighing 20-50 lbs., as well as wrapping pallets throughout the shift. You'll interact with products from clients involved in the active lifestyle.

All About You

• Experience with shipping, especially as a Lead
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walk and stand for extended periods, climb ladders/stairs, and tolerate various environmental conditions
• Compliance with NRI safety rules, procedures, and protocols

The Must Haves

• 2+ years of prior experience in shipping
• Experience as a Lead (optional but preferred)
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending English

Things You Will Be Doing

• Oversee the training and cross-training of shipping employees
• Lead and delegate shipping tasks while adhering to service level agreements (SLA) and vendor compliance
• Collaborate with the Shipping Supervisor to plan labor requirements based on forecasts and client services team direction
• Ensure outbound products are loaded and shipped according to assigned carriers
• Generate and apply custom retailer carton labels in the correct positions
• Consolidate shipment requirements based on customer requests
• Follow NRI safety rules, procedures, security protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Keep work and storage areas safe, clean, and tidy
• Perform other duties as requested
