Responsibilities
Execute picking and verification tasks per JIT wave plans and system directives, ensuring optimized picking routes, accurate inventory counts, and timely order fulfillment to enhance picking efficiency.
Pack and label goods according to standards, ensuring secure packaging and clear information to minimize transit damage.
Promptly address anomalies (e.g., damaged, out-of-stock items) to maintain outbound quality.
Collaborate with couriers or transport teams for package loading, verifying quantities and flow details. Ensure logical loading sequences and accurate handovers, resolving issues to maintain outbound process fluidity.
Adhere to outbound process standards (e.g., storage management, picking priorities).
Participate in on-site optimizations, suggesting efficiency improvements.
Enforce safety protocols to prevent injuries and equipment damage, enhancing operational compliance.
Document operational metrics (e.g., picking volume, packing times), promptly reporting process gaps or equipment malfunctions.
Assist in managing order exceptions (e.g., address changes, urgent orders) to ensure smooth outbound operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in logistics or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
