About the role
This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments in a warehouse setting.Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Process inbound shipments by updating inventory records and preparing shipping documents.
- Handle and store goods according to safety and security protocols.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams regarding shipment status.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Good physical condition to perform tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Experience with basic warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse operations.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
