Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk

About the role

Ryder is seeking a Permanent Full Time Night Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate in Greencastle, PA. This position involves handling retail items and operating state-of-the-art equipment in a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according to warehouse direction and vendor assignments
• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation
• Partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
• Auxiliary in appointment scheduling as needed
• Update required reports on a timely basis
• Communicate with customers and assist with their needs
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
• Multitask, be highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office (intermediate level)
• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge (intermediate level)
• Safety sensitive position. Non-regulated tech. Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified

Pay

Weekly Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second shift

Schedule

Night Shift: Sunday-Tuesday 6pm-6am, Wednesday 6pm-12am
