About the role

As a warehouse selector at Publix Super Markets, you determine how much you earn. The more orders you complete safely and efficiently, the more money you earn each week. Selectors are rewarded for working efficiently and accurately, with the average selector performing at a rate greater than 100%, allowing you to earn above standard pay.

This role involves physical activity, including constant walking, lifting, bending, and stretching, making it ideal for those who enjoy staying active through sports, cardio, strength training, or bodybuilding.

Selectors pull products ordered by Publix stores, place them onto pallets, wrap the finished order, and prepare it for delivery. You’ll use state-of-the-art technology to locate products in the warehouse and ensure efficiency. Warehouse selectors are key team players in keeping shelves stocked across more than 1,400 store locations.

Responsibilities

• Select, lift, carry, and stack products weighing up to 67 pounds (high and low velocity items).
• Stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive work for extended periods.
• Operate a pallet truck or forklift safely, with no part of the body exposed outside the operator compartment.
• Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before your start date).
• Perform job duties efficiently, accurately, and safely.
• Read, write, identify, and verify numbers.
• Interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test (before your start date), as applicable.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Work fluctuating shifts when needed.

• Year-end Holiday Bonus:
  • First year of continuous employment: 15 hours of pay.
  • Second year of continuous employment: one week’s pay (if employed through the issue date).
