Pay

  • Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
  • Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour when working overtime

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm or 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Frequent overtime assigned on Saturdays with short notice

About the role

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. This role involves handling commercial HVAC parts and using computers and warehouse equipment. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
  • One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
  • One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates customer service skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer, and/or other suppliers as needed
  • Updates area or shift metrics using the location's WMS system
  • Generates daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries, often of a technical and/or confidential nature
  • Performs floor work and additional duties as assigned
  • Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift, including maintaining filing systems and documents
  • Gathers and provides information to floor employees in the supported area
  • Coordinates activities, meetings, and communication for the specific area or shift
  • Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific
