Warehouse Receiving Clerk

Join the BrightKey team as a Warehouse Receiving Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods in our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments, contributing to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips to ensure accuracy of goods received.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies, report findings and coordinate returns or exchanges with suppliers.
• Efficiently sort, label, and store received items in designated storage areas while maintaining an organized and safe working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems or inventory software to update and maintain accurate records of inventory.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely load and unload and move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform regular inventory counts and participate in periodic inventory audits to support accurate stock management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Receiver in a warehouse, including inventory management and loading/unloading trucks.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods; capacity to perform physical tasks requiring repetitive motions.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
