Warehouse & Receiving Attendant - MGM Springfield

The Job

As a Warehouse Receiving Attendant, you will be responsible for daily operations of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack
• Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity; report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor
• Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items
• Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
• Assemble and deliver warehouse orders
• Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren)
• Assist in all physical inventories
• Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor

• Able to operate a forklift (standard and automatic)
• Able to use an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and a four wheeled cart
• Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Pay

The starting rate for this role is $20.45 per hour. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
