Warehouse Receiving Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to support our Distribution Center operations. This role involves receiving and inspecting merchandise, moving products, and assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise manually or using forklifts and hand dollies
• Inspect incoming merchandise for damage and accuracy
• Move products throughout the Distribution Center as needed
• Auxiliary roles in shipping, receiving, and general warehouse organization
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly
• Support other departments such as recycling, parts, and cleaning
• Contribute to meeting daily productivity and operational goals

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic math skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to identify products by size, style, color, or product code
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move merchandise throughout the shift
• Ability to work in varying warehouse and outdoor conditions
• Must wear steel-toed boots and follow all safety procedures
