Warehouse Receiver / Checker - 1st Shift

Position Overview: Ensure accurate receipt of merchandise, maintaining quality and proper quantities to support community feeding efforts. Responsibilities Include Verifying incoming shipments against records, recording counts, weights, and damages.Using warehouse management systems and technology (e.g., RF guns) for inventory accuracy.Maintaining inventory through cycle counting and addressing shortages, overages, and damages.Labeling pallets, verifying freight accuracy, and documenting discrepancies.Organizing items for efficient storage and shipping, monitoring high-value items.Ensuring inbound shipments are pest-free and recording any activity.Performing related tasks as per SOPs and supporting overall warehouse operations. Qualifications & Skills Minimum six months warehouse experience; electric pallet jack experience preferred.Strong planning, teamwork, communication, and safety adherence skills.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
