About the role

The Pallet Quality Coordinator position at Ryder's Kapolei, Hawaii warehouse involves applying quality assurance principles to ensure products meet customer, state, and federal guidelines. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products
  • Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures
  • Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses
  • Participate in quality audits
  • Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years or more of experience in manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse environments
  • Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-drive to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

Qualifications
