Warehouse QC Associate

About the role

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Branch ensuring all orders are picked accurately.

Responsibilities

• Audit each order for accuracy using the Ship Ticket Audit software.
• Prepare orders for shipment by organizing them in a way that does not damage the material and is easy to receive by the customer.
• Ensure all necessary labels are present, including the customer label, QC label, and mixed carton label.
• Stage orders in the correct staging area for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Ability to read orders and match them to items picked.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
• Significant time spent standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• May require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
