Warehouse QC Associate

About the role

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Branch ensuring all orders are picked accurately. Uses the Ship Ticket Audit software to audit each order for accuracy. After the order is audited, prepares the order for shipment by organizing the pallet or box to prevent damage and facilitate easy receipt by the customer. Ensures all corresponding labels are present, including the customer label, QC label, and mixed carton label. Stages the order in the correct staging area for on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Audit orders for accuracy using Ship Ticket Audit software.
• Prepare orders for shipment by organizing pallets or boxes to prevent damage and ensure easy receipt.
• Verify all required labels are present, including customer label, QC label, and mixed carton label.
• Stage audited orders in the correct staging area for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Must be able to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
• Spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• May require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of alert and in a safe manner is imperative.

Available Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 pm – 3:00 am
