Warehouse & Purchasing Manager

The Warehouse and Purchasing Manager oversees procurement, receiving, warehouse, and inventory operations for a large-scale community. They manage the sourcing and storage of food, beverage, maintenance supplies, MRO parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring departments have necessary materials. Collaborating with culinary, facilities, maintenance, housekeeping, operations, and finance teams, they forecast needs, set inventory levels, and support operational requirements. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety standards like HACCP. They supervise receiving and warehouse staff, monitor costs, and use data to optimize inventory, reduce waste, and prevent stockouts. The role requires experience in purchasing, procurement, warehouse operations, or supply chain management, with strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of food safety and inventory controls are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or higher, with preferred degrees in Supply Chain, Business, or Hospitality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments is required, along with flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
