Warehouse Production Worker Probationary

About the role

Vantage Elevation, LLC is searching for a Production Worker to join their team. The Production Worker will be responsible for arranging shipments of materials, inspecting and verifying goods, managing inventory levels, operating a forklift, and driving between the warehouse and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Arrange shipments of materials

• Manage inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies

• Drive between the warehouse and manufacturing facilities

Requirements

• High School degree with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, etc.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving company vehicles
• Proficient in computer skills
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures
• Exceptional work ethic, time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Work Environment, Hazards, & Special Physical Demands

• Warehouse and manufacturing production environment
• Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods of time and lift at least 50 lbs
• Risk of injury on manufacturing floor and operating heavy machinery

Benefits

• Salary for New York Based Applicants: $17.00 - $19.00 an hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation)

• This is an hourly position with overtime available
• After 90 days, this position will be eligible for benefits through the IBEW, Local 3 Union
