Warehouse/Production Operator I

About the role

Perform production and warehousing duties within the SAP system, including goods receipt, material put-away, component inspection, cycle counting, and staging and picking of materials for production. Assist other departments as needed. This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials while performing real-time transactions in SAP ERP system.
• Weighs/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
• Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
• Verifies goods received against documentation.
• Performs initial quality check on incoming product.
• Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
• Utilizes motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials, parts, supplies and equipment as instructed. May operate a forklift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to drive a forklift and become certified internally.
• Related shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
• Microsoft Word and Excel familiarity.
• Goal-oriented team contributor.

Pay

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.79 to $24.52 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on several factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, dependent upon achievement of individual objectives and Company performance.
