Warehouse Production Operator - Freeport, TX

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is seeking a Warehouse Technician for a long-term position in the Freeport, Texas area.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

- Reads work order, shipping order, or requisition order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. - Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forklift. - Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, color, or product code. - Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock items. - May also distribute tools. - Records materials or items received and distributed. - May be responsible for inventory and inventory control. - May be required to load or unload materials from trucks, trailers, or rail cars.

Requirements

- Minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience as a Warehouse Technician in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment. - Experience operating a standard sit-down forklift is **REQUIRED** for this position. - Must maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all times. - Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. - Must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test. - Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and other qualifications as required.

Schedule

4 on 4 off rotating shift in a facility open 24/7, 365 days a year. Candidates may be expected to work weekends and holidays if scheduled.
