Pay

$16.50 – $20.50/hour

Schedule

• Day Shift: 4:45 am – 5:15 pm, block schedule
• Night Shift: 4:45 pm – 5:15 am, block schedule
• Overtime required; may be scheduled with little or no advance notice

Responsibilities

• Work safely in an industrial environment
• Use hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools to clean equipment
• Operate material-handling equipment, including conveyor belts, to receive, store, and ship material
• Perform receiving and shipping inspections to verify:
  • Quantity matches the order
  • No apparent damage
  • Required documentation is available
• Conduct physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document receipt, shipment, and control
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to understand, read, and write basic English
• Ability to perform basic math calculations: addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Ability to read and understand the English alphabet
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
• Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Observant, detail-oriented, and safety-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs throughout the day
• Ability to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment; forklift certification preferred
