Warehouse Processing Associate - Widow Jane

About the role

This position is onsite and based at Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The Widow Jane Distillery is looking for a Warehouse Processing Associate who is proficient on the forklift and comfortable driving a 12' Penske Box truck. This role works closely with the operations and production team to learn and assist with the daily functions of warehouse and distillery production.

Responsibilities

• Rearranging and stacking warehouse inventory and barrels
• Loading and unloading trucks on forklift
• Transporting inventory from one warehouse to another via Penske Truck
• Pulling samples, bottling, labeling, packing, and other distillery tasks
• Assisting in assembling whiskey blends
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested

Physical requirements: While performing duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of work‑related manufacturing experience, preferably in a brewery, winery or distillery
• Minimum 3 years of experience driving a forklift and/or box truck preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• OSHA and handling of Hazardous Materials training a plus

Pay

In New York, the expected compensation range for this role is $21.00 per hour. Actual starting pay may differ based on non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Schedule

This is a full‑time role working Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.
